Pricing questions

Why is it free?

Because adoption matters more than ARR right now. We'd rather a million people use EvenRound free than ten thousand pay. We'll monetize the premium tier when the product is mature, not before.

What will be in the premium tier?

Long history retention beyond 24 months, unlimited AI receipt scans, custom branding for shared groups, advanced analytics, and priority support. None of it gates the core splitting flow - that stays free forever.

How do you sustain this?

We're a small team running on Vercel and Supabase. The cost-per-active-user is low when you don't have a sales team or 30 SaaS subscriptions. Premium and (eventually) team plans will cover infrastructure long-term.

Will you ever paywall basic splitting?

No. The pledge: creating groups, adding expenses, splitting, and settling will be free forever, with no daily caps. We've all been on the wrong end of a paywalled splitter and we're not doing that.

Are there any ads?

Never. We're not an ad-supported product and never plan to be.
